Description: 3 players register as a team with one of them on position A, B and C. Tournament Style: 4 players,’round robin’: every player faces each other, Best-of-Three, Sealed Pack (You play with that Booster Pack)
Description: In a Booster Battle event, all attending players are playing with each one Booster Pack of the same expansion. Since there is a limited deck, you won’t lose due to drawing from an empty deck, all Basic Energy cards count as any type (= Rainbow Energy) and the ‘Mutant’-rule applies, so Pokémon can evolve into Pokémon of the same type.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
New VG Rules – Which connection will be used for the video game tournament what need players to bring to the event?
JOKMOK will provide a full LAN set up for all players, including docking stations, connectors and wires. We ask players to bring their own Nintendo Switch / Switch Lite console, an AC adapter that is compatible with their system and one copy of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield.
New VG Rules – Which controllers will be allowed?
As per the official rules: “Players are permitted to bring their own officially licensed wired controller. Wireless controllers are not permitted.” This includes the Nintendo Pro Controller, as long as it uses a wired connection to your console. Please follow these instructions to enable/disable Pro Controller wired connection: Click here!
I forgot my player ID. Where can I find it?
Which Format will be played?

What is a Player ID?
Can I bring food and drinks inside the venue?
Yes, PET Bottles are allowed with a maximum capacity of 0.5l. You can take more than one of those bottles with you. Additionally, there will be convenient snacks and drinks at the catering on-site.
Do I need a Decklist or Teamsheet?
For the Video Game, please fill in a Teamsheet prior to the tournament. It will be collected prior to the start of round 1 of the VG Main Event. You can find Teamlists here.
I want to be a Judge or Scorekeeper at your Event!
Will there be a cloakroom?
Am I allowed to trade, sell or advertise in the venue?

How to get to the event
Airports
RuhrCongress Bochum is ideally located less than one hour from four airports:
Dortmund Airport: 29 km
Dusseldorf Airport: 45 km
Cologne/Bonn Airport: 89 km
Muenster/Osnabrueck International Airport: 96 km
By train
From Bochum main station, take tram lines 308 or 318 in the direction of “Bochum Gerthe”. After about a 3 minute drive you will reach the stop “Vonovia Ruhrstadion”.
RuhrCongress Bochum is located directly behind the stadium.
By bus
From the Bochum main station take bus 388 in the direction of “Bochum Riemke”. You will reach the bus stop “RuhrCongress” after about 6 minutes and you are at the main entrance.
How to get there by car
Coming from the A40 motorway, please take the exit “RuhrCongress”. Continue straight ahead onto the Stadionring. After about 400 m you will see the RuhrCongress Bochum to your left.
Parking spaces for visitors

Coming from the A40 motorway, drive straight ahead onto the Stadionring. After about 400 m you will pass a roundabout and take the third exit. After about 50 m you will find the entrance to the underground car park on your left.
Neighbouring multi-story car park
Coming from the A40, keep to the left immediately after the motorway exit. You are now heading directly toward the car park. RuhrCongress Bochum is a five-minute walk from there. Please follow the signs.
