Bremen airport is relatively small, and direct flights are possible to different European destinations and locations within Germany (most commonly to Frankfurt and Munich). There is also a separate terminal for Ryanair, which also offers a wider selection of flights at a much cheaper price. Frankfurt and Munich airports serve many international airlines flying to Germany, and are typically the most common transfer points for those looking to fly to Bremen. The most common airlines flying directly to Frankfurt and Munich are the Star Alliance airlines (e.g. Lufthansa, Thai Airways, Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, and ANA).
